I created new plugin and I'd like some tests on it.
It enables dynamically grabbing movies via a person with optional parameters.
For example, get all of vin diesel's movies that he was an actor in between 2005-2010 that got more than 6.5 score, more than 10,000 votes. Or whatever
You'll need to install IMDBpy for it, so do that (pip install imdbpy).
Here is the gist.
This is another example configuration:
Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas or feedback.
person must include name or id. if name is given, the result used will be the first from the IMDB search.
if ID is used (use person ID like nm0000210 or as any part of the URL like http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000210/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1.
job_types can be actor, director etc. see file for full list. default is 'actor'
content_types can be movie, tv series etc. see file for full list. default is 'movie'
include_genres and exclude_genres can contain a list of genres and match type. genres can be any string as there is a shit ton of them listed in IMDB.
match_type can be any, all or exact. i think this is self explanatory. default is any.
rating is the minimal number of rating that a movie must have to pass the filter. can be 0-10.
votes is minimal number of votes
years is a year filter that can accept 4 types:
- year (like '2004')
- -year (like '-2004)
- year- (like '2004-)
- year-year (like '2004-2015')
range is 1900-2099.
max_entries defines the maximum number of entries that can be returned after filtering. this is basically flood protection for mistakes that can mess up your queue. default is 200, no need to touch this unless you're trying to add more than that.
strict_mode means that if votes, rating or years are entered in the config, and the movie that is being filtered does not have a value for them, it will be skipped. default is false.
